Who We Are

The Community Health Alliance of Humboldt - Del Norte, Inc. (CHA) is a network of health care providers, consumers, employers, and community leaders serving as the North Coast's forum for community-based health planning and advocacy.

Our mission is to increase access to health care, improve the quality of care, strengthen the integration of the medical community, and engage consumers in better managing their health and their health care.

The Purpose of This Web Site

We built this Web site to help you understand health care quality, to promote local efforts to improve health care quality, and to help support you when making health care decisions for you or your family. Here, you can access charts that compare how local medical offices and hospitals perform on various aspects of care. You can also access resources that will help you strengthen the working relationship with your medical team.
